The UK Standard Skills Classification (SSC) represents a nationally standardised framework developed to define, organise and map the skills, knowledge, and tasks that underpin all occupations across the UK labour market. 

 

Built through Skills England in collaboration with leading academic institutions, it provides a shared language for understanding work at a granular, operational level, from broad skill domains to specific occupational skills.

 

Esync Deep integrates this framework into its STEM education and career guidance ecosystem to create a data-aligned, progression-driven model for student development, employability awareness and future skills mapping.

Career Awareness Guidance with SSCF (Standard Skills Classification Framework)

Traditional career guidance systems rely heavily on:

The SSC replaces this with a skills-first architecture, enabling education providers to move from what a job is called to what a job actually requires.
